Opening of Priorit Cascais
On 27 April 2026 we opened the doors of our Carcavelos unit, the first Instituto Priorit centre outside Brazil. An open morning for families to see the space and meet the team.

About the event
For 20 years Priorit has worked with neurodevelopment and autism in Brazil. On 27 April 2026 that methodology arrived in Portugal: Instituto Priorit opened its Carcavelos unit, in Cascais, the first outside Brazil.
The morning was an open house for families. Between 10:00 and 12:00 visitors walked through the individual therapy rooms and the group activity areas, met the transdisciplinary team and saw, on site, how a single therapy plan grows out of one shared initial assessment.
The format was simple, with no stage and no lecture: the aim was to show the space, introduce the professionals and answer the families’ questions.
The unit has been open ever since. Anyone who could not attend can still book an initial assessment, with no commitment, and visit the space on another day.
This event has ended. The Cascais unit is open and taking bookings.
